First Dance

Entering the reception.....

Our first dance...... We danced to the song "Love Never Fails" by Brandon Heath. It has always been one of my favorite songs.

Father/Daughter dance......"Hundred More Years" by Francesca Battistelli

The meal we served was barbecue pulled pork sandwiches, tortellini salad, coleslaw, and chips. My Auntie Lena and Baboonya helped with a lot of the food. Thank you both so much! Everything was absolutely delicious.

The Ceremony

My friend Sarah wrote out these signs. I think she did an amazing job!

We ordered flowers in bulk from Sam's club, and did the centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages ourselves. This was my bouquet.

Sarah also made baby's breath head wreaths for the bridesmaids.

We got married in the chapel. We went to the church on Thursday and Friday to set up.

Pastor Sam performed the ceremony for us. He has been a part of my family for longer than I've been alive. It was such a huge blessing having him do the ceremony.

Sarah, Sveta, and Rebecka were my bridesmaids. Jacob (Thomas's brother), Adam, and Caleb were groomsmen.

It's crazy to think that I'm now married. I'm so happy to be married to my best friend. :)

Cotton Patch Cafe

Oliver and I played the "drums" the other morning. Natalie came and listened.

The library here in town is so unique. I wanted to show my friends, and we took the boys with us. They love the games they have on the computers. The librarian, Mrs. Kitchen, is so nice, and it is always great to see her.

The front of the library looks like an old cottage. We wanted to get pictures in front of it. My friend Sarah joined us on Sunday, and I'm so happy to have her here as well. We have known each other since we've been babies. This week has been so much fun so far, and I'm so looking forward to Saturday. :)

For dinner, we went to the Cotton Patch Cafe.

Monday night they have a great special, and that's what we all ordered. Afterwards we went to the grocery store and got more magnum bars for dessert.

Big Red Chair

There's a nursery that has this big red chair in front of it. Rebecka and I had to get a picture together in it.

Last night the girls went to Chick-fil-A for dinner. Afterwards, we splurged and went to the grocery store and bought magnum ice cream bars. They come in packs of 3, and there were 6 of us, so it was perfect! We've never had them before, and they were such a special delicious treat. My mom said that we should always have them in the freezer for that time of the month because it's impossible to eat one and be grumpy at the same time. We all agreed!!!

Magic Show

The local library had a lot of different events this summer for children. I took  Alex, Oliver, and Nolan to the last event, which was a magic show. It was a lot of fun, and the kids really enjoyed it.

The boys have been playing a lot of monopoly. Their games normally last a couple hours.

Today we picked up Rebecka from the airport. I'm so happy that she's here during the last week of wedding prep. I can't believe that the wedding is next Saturday, Aug. 5th. My other great friend Sarah flies in on Sunday. There is still so much to do, and I'm so thankful they will be here to help.

More Swimming

The kids love swimming. We spend a couple hours in the pool every day. As soon as we go outside, Oliver just runs and jumps in. He is pretty much a swimmer now, and is absolutely fearless.

It's so hard to take good pics with the underwater camera. This one is my favorite though.

Thomas was a human raft for Natalie.

 Underwater selfie!
