After the Good Friday service, Annalyn and I went out to Subway for dinner. Thomas has been out of town for over 2 weeks, and Annalyn's husband was working. She ended up coming over afterwards and spending the night. We stayed up until almost 2am catching up on life, and enjoying each other's company.
On Saturday, I took my siblings to Baskin Robbins for the discount ice cream on the 31st. The server was so friendly and patient. Here's Jonny, Andrew, and Paul chilling with their ice cream.
Alex chose cookies and cream.

There are so many beautiful ponds around here.
Decorating eggs was a lot of fun.
Oliver loved dropping the eggs in the mug and watching it change colors. Sometimes he dropped it from a little too high though, and caused the dye to splash. Not fun to clean up.
My dad teaches the college Sunday school class, but he was out of town this weekend. He asked me to teach it for him, and I really enjoyed sharing the joy that comes with Jesus's resurrection. Afterwards, we spent the afternoon swimming, playing spikeball and four square, eating, and hanging out;
I brought Nike over, and he loved all the attention.
For dinner, we had salad, green beans, bread, and amazing fall off the bone ribs.
Happy Easter! I hope you all had a wonderful time with your families. All day I kept thinking of the first verse in the song Happy Day. It is the greatest day in history.
The greatest day in history, death is beaten, you have rescued me, sing it out, Jesus is ALIVE!
